Bio:

Jean-Jacques Sahel is Deputy Director, Services Industries in UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), in charge of Financial and Legal Services, PPP and Export Finance. Jean-Jacques has previously represented UK Government interests in a number of international fora dealing with telecommunications and the information economy.

He was particularly active at the OECD, the UN's International Telecommunications Union and the WTO; he was also recently one of the UK negotiators to the UN's World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). Jean-Jacques was a Vice Chair of the OECD Anti-Spam Task Force (2004-2006), and is Chair of the OECD Working Party on the Information Economy (2004-2006).He is also a member of the London Action Plan (LAP), the international network for spam enforcement.
