The First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security (FRI)

 The First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security (FRI) is a Chinese Government organization directly subsidiary to the Ministry of Public Security. An integrated research institute, the FRI is the largest base for the scientific research and production of police equipment in China. The FRI provides material and technology services to all of China’s public security systems and public security bodies.
