Rene Meijers is Data Manager of TNT Direct Marketing Services in China, the innovative direct marketing division of TNT, a Fortune 500 multinationals based in the Netherlands.
With over 10 years experience in direct marketing business, Rene has managed a large number of significant projects within TNT in the area of data collection, data cleaning, database management and data analysis.
Since relocating to China in early 2006 Rene has lead the TNT task force to implement the company's unique multi-channel data collection program in China.He oversees data quality programs and management of the TNT EYETM database, the first consumer lifestyle database which contains information of over 1.5 million households in China. In his current position Rene has fully combined his expert experience and knowledge in database marketing with the dynamic and rapid developments of China.
Before joining TNT Rene was one of the founders of e-data collection and e-direct marketing for TNT's subsidiary company Cendris.
Rene Meijers holds a degree in marketing and marketing research from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
